Modern Metal Finishing, Inc., provides high quality, affordable cost metal finishing services. We offer hardcoat (Type III) anodizing of aluminum alloys for the aerospace, defense, medical, firearm and automotive industries. Our hardcoat anodizing line is equipped with an overhead crane that allows us to anodize parts up to 58" X 42" for clear and for colored anodizing.

We typically anodize 6061 and 7075 aluminum alloys, but our expert technical staff can work with our customers on any specific alloy and application requirements. We can dye aluminum using standard anodizing colors or develop specific colors as needed.

Prior to anodizing, all parts undergo cleaning through aqueous solutions or media (grit) blasting to ensure a clean finishing surface. Aluminum surfaces can also be bright dipped or etched to create a matte finish prior to anodizing. After anodizing, parts can be further finished using ModernLube (a PTFE alternative), dry film lubrication, laser engraving, or special packaging solutions. We are NADCAP accredited, registered with ITAR, FFL approved, and ISO: 9001:2008 certified to ensure we meet our customers' expectations.
